Welcome to Kurly Kale Theatre Group, a non-profit theatre company providing weekly drama for wellbeing and professional acting workshops for neurodiverse actors.

Here's everything you need to know:
-
We run weekly workshops at Old Diorama Arts Centre, Regent's Place, 201 Drummond St, London NW1 3FE
-
We work with people aged 18-35 and accept a maximum of up to 11 spaces per season.
-
We will have a Zoom (video) call with you and a parent/guardian (if needed) to make sure
that we can keep you and your fellow group members safe in the workshops. Feel free to read
our “Shared formulation and Assessment form” to see what we’ll talk about together.
-
Our ethos is to meet each performer where they are at. While not an exclusive list, we commonly work with individuals with Down syndrome, ASD, complex learning disabilities, those who struggle with accessibility in mainstream acting classes (i.e. cognitive accessibility/social), and those with SEN and SEMH.

For the first two weeks of each season, our facilitators will introduce different genres of theatre such as devised theatre, clowning theatre, script work, improvisation, voice acting, physical theatre and more.
Our actors will then take a vote on which genre they would like to explore for the remaining 6 weeks, with an option to showcase their work to an audience at the end of the season.
